Noooooo! I haven't had that setting on since a few hours after I had my first iPhone! LOL! Because I want my ringer at a certain setting, I don't want the volume buttons to change them...ever! When I attempt to turn up the volume while VO is speaking, it turns up everything...but then when I call myself from my home phone, the ringer is very loud and VO announcement is still low. I wonder if doing a factory reset would take care of the problem? Guess I could restore from iCloud...ugh! Thanks for all the suggestions, I appreciate it!

That way your ringer volume is only change there in settings. Then, see if turning the volume up while voiceover is speaking makes a difference. This helped me with my ringer volume. My VO volume was fine. My ringer would drop down to 10 percent volume or lower for no clear reason.
