Robin,

I am all for accessibility of all platforms, too, but that doesn't mean that
they are all equally accessible. As far as features are concerned, I believe
all iOS 8 features which are not dependent on specific hardware are on the
4S. Apple Pay does require an NFC chip and since no phone before the iPhone
6 and 6 Plus has one it can, of course, not work. In any case, Apple Pay is
not even an iOS 8 feature, it's a new service Apple is offering and not part
of iOS. Once Android is as secure as iOS and once Windows Phone version
whatever has the same level of iOS I'll happily consider both until then I
stick with where I feel I get the most bang for my buck and in my opinion
that is iOS and the iPhone. I assume you have one as well since you are on
this list unless you are just on it to bash Apple. Let me know when you
start a Windows Phone list as I would probably like to join just to keep up
to speed with how accessibility there is progressing.

Regards,
Sieghard

That was then, and this is now.

Microsoft's WP8.1 works on MobilePhones such as WP8 MobilePhones,
which were released 2 Years ago, and are still scheduled to receive
more updates such as WP8.1 UpDate 1 and so forth. So I suggest you
Stop Trashing other Mobile PlatForms in an effort to stray the
conversation away from its primary purpose, which is Apple's iOS8
doesn't appear to support the MobileDevices it stated it would give
or take a couple of features such as Apple's iOS8 ApplePay.

Fragmentation IS rearing its head IN Apple's Garden. It's NOT
exclusive to Google's Android anymore. Is it? If I'm wrong, someone
(Apple FanBoys), please correct me. I'm NOT against Apple or any
other Mobile Platform. I'm for accessibility IN all Mobile Platforms
(Apple's iOS, Microsoft's Windows (WP), & Google's Android)
