When looking through the privacy settings, for each app listed, there is a choice between "never" and "always". Yet, some are set to "only while using". This choice would be handy for a lot of apps, but the only two choices I see are "always" and "never". Can someone let me know where the third option is? Thanks.

Hi Charles, Yes, Home was always there since iOS 7 was released. 40% is fairly high, I just checked mine and over the last 24 hours my home screen used up 11%. You might want to check things like screen brightness and system services under Privacy, Location Services. Make sure you turn things like cell search and automatic time zone off. For a fairly extensive list of battery tricks you should listen to the most recent Today in iOS podcast. Also handoff and recommended apps will drain battery.
