Sounds more like a coverage issue outside your control or the scope of the device. There's getting too much of this busied out business with networks these days. Vodafone carries TalkMobile and getting a lot of that there, too.

It started to drop signal last Wednesday and wouldn't send any texts but it would let me make a call. Now, at home the signal is all over the place and half the time, it won't send a text or make or receive any calls. I have spoken to 02 twice, the first time, I carried out settings, general and network and reset the network settings. This worked at work but when I got home, the signal dropped out again. I tried the same reset above to no effect. I contacted 02 again and they advised turning off 4g as this is not a 4g area. Again, this sorted the issue but when I got home, it started to play up again. Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be going on? My Wife has a nokia phone on 02 as well and she receives a consistent 4 bar signal with no issues. The phone is only about six months old and I have really taken care of it. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated. ******************************************************************************************************************** This message may contain confidential information.
