Besides buying a used 5S, another way to save money on iPhone
ownership is in the choice of wireless service.  I wrote the article
"iPhone on the Cheap" on AppleVis.  by using a carrier other than At&T
or Verizon, one could pay one-third the cost of wireless service.
Often this means simply switching to a virtual network operator that
buys data and minutes from the major companies in bulk and resells
them at a discount.  Many are paying about $30 or less for service
that includes generous amounts of calls, data and texts.
