As I said in my message, one possibility here is that if one runs into trouble
with RingTones, Apple Accessibility may not be willing to help you. Thanks to
those who said they could still do it. As for all the guessing about what Apple
will and will not support and/or allow in the future, they are just that.
Guesses. I hope those guesses are correct, but as I am not an Apple employee,
I’ll keep my guessing out of the picture.

Hello, I have my own ring tones, that I created, and recently, I've been able
to get them to my mac, and sync to my iPhone 5s running iOS 8.1.1.

I am running Yosemite on the Mac, and the latest version of iTunes, I don't
think Apple will stop letting users at their own ring tones, at least I don't
believe it.

Hi, I was recently told by a person at Apple Accessibility that Apple was no
longer going to support ringTones that were not purchased from the app store.
If this is true, then the question becomes, what does it mean. Does it mean
that they will simply not help you work out how to do this? Or, does it mean
that eventually one will not be able to actually get unpaid ringTones onto the
phone? I have not tried this in iOS 8 on the iPhone 6, but I wonder if anyone
has done so?

Wondered how can I import any downloadable ring tones that used on my IPhone5
to be used on my IPhone6 using ITunes 12?

Didn’t find the ring tone on my new phone when restored things from a backup.

Also how do you show the contacts folder on the home screen as haven’t figured
out how to do that.

Thanks.
