Jonathan, I was able to successfully convert $19.95 in American currency to New Zealand dollars. first in converting currencies in SIRI, it is always important to say the name of the country using dollars, as multiple countries call their currency dollars. I told both SIRI and Google quote "convert 19 point 95 United States dollars into New Zealand dollars" end quote. I received the exact value from both SIRI and Google. In your instance, it was an unfair comparison, disadvantaging Apple. As discussed previously on this list, SIRI requires people to use the word convert at the beginning of a currency conversion. SIRI taps into yahoo finance, which uses the command structure country followed by currency name of originating currency followed by the country name and currency name of destination currency. when this syntax is used, SIRI can be used easily for currency conversion.
