Hi kelly. This demonstrates that the vision of Siri has yet to be truly fulfilled. The idea with such services as announced in 2011 was that you could talk to your phone in natural language style, much like you would ask your personal assistant a question. Indeed, Siri has been described as a personal assistant. One shouldn't have to get a syntax just so in order to get the answer you want. Natural language queries will improve over time, and it is good to know that at least if you ask a question in just the right way, you may get the answer you're looking for. Who knows what things will be like a year from now, but at this point it seems Google can parse queries a little more intelligently, at least in some cases. Apple seem to know it has some catch-up to do. Word is they are devoting some serious new resources to improving what Siri can do. I suspect we will see big things relating to Siri in iOS 9.
