I bought a Nexis 7 Android tablet to go along with my iPhone last
summer. I like having the two devices. There are some things I just like
doing better on the Nexis 7, in part due to the fact that it's running
Android and in part due to the fact that it's larger and has a larger
display. I also find it convenient to have the tablet downstairs in the
living room while my iPhone may float around a bit more. I tend to
segregate what I do on each device somewhat, e.g. I generally use my
Nexis 7 for media, playing music, watching Netflix and so on. One of the
reasons I got the Nexis 7 instead of an iPad was to play with Android
and the fact that you can get them much cheaper than you can get an iPad.
I do understand the single device desire though. Around the house, I'll
use my Booksense, my Android tablet and my laptop, but when I leave for
the day or on a trip then I just take my iPhone. Whether you want to
consolidate everything into one device or use multiple devices is a
personal decision and there are no right or wrong answers here.

Ok, understood. Thanks for the dual clarification. Am I the only one
who has trouble making a decision about what best will serve my needs? I
want to stream line my existence, and part of that is not expanding my
possessions. The beauty of the IPhone is that it is small and durable
and easy to carry around in one hand, leave on a ledge near the bed,
etc. I’m still not there in terms of what to do first! I’ve only got 3.7
ggs available storage on the phone I’ve got. Deidre

Accept you won't find a device with the 64 bit processor that doesn't
have the retina display.
At least, as far as I know, which is why I say check with others and do
your own research into the features you want.
In my opinion, there isn't much point in buying a new device with the
slower processor as things are going in the direction of putting more
and more demands on the processor capability of these devices.

In general terms, it has to do with the resolution of the screen.
More megapixels, clarity sharpness, etc. Irrelevant if you can’t see.
