Although if you encourage people to install the app by dragging it from a dmg to anywhere on their computer, e.g. their desktop, then that could make it difficult for my code to detect whether or not TurboVNC Viewer is available. Maybe if you distribute the app in a dmg, you could also include a symbolic link to the /Applications/ folder within the dmg, so that users are strongly encouraged to install the viewer in their Applications folder if they have permission to do so. All of my users seem to have installation privileges in their client machines. Or another option is that (with your permission), I bundle TurboVNC Viewer up within my app's distribution.
