What command are you using to extract it? Have you tried installing the
package using the Cygwin installer (instructions are in the VirtualGL
User's Guide)? That's really the way it's intended to be installed,
rather than decompressing the tarball directly.

doing? Please verify that it has the following md5 sum:

SourceForge seems to be down right now, so I cannot verify whether or not
the file on their server is correct. I am just going off of the local copy
that I uploaded. That means that, if there's any corruption, it either
occurred when I uploaded the file or when you downloaded it.
