Okay thank you for the clarification.

However I am running into a problem. I get this while trying to run
"vglconnect" through Cygwin/X:

"Warning: untrusted X11 forwarding setup failed: xauth key data not
generated

Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding."

I do not get this using vglconnect through Xming, but no OpenGL connection.

Though I am guessing this is a Cygwin issue.

Thanks again.

What command are you using to extract it? Have you tried installing the
package using the Cygwin installer (instructions are in the VirtualGL User's
Guide)? That's really the way it's intended to be installed, rather than
decompressing the tarball directly.

Works fine for me. Why do you say it's corrupt? What specifically is it
doing? Please verify that it has the following md5 sum:

f8bf40ec5f942e80c351e78703ec4c6d

SourceForge seems to be down right now, so I cannot verify whether or not
the file on their server is correct. I am just going off of the local copy
that I uploaded. That means that, if there's any corruption, it either
occurred when I uploaded the file or when you downloaded it.

The file is corrupt. Where can a good copy be had?
