Is there any more information on this?  I'm having the same problem
after just upgrading to the latest version of both VisualSVN and
TortoiseSVN.  I can utilize VisualSVN all the files (regardless if the
dot is showing) though.

* VisualSVN 1.6.3
* TortoiseSVN 1.5.9
* No other source control plugins
* Windows 2000
* VS 2005

In "Current Source Control Plug-in" the currenct selection is "None"
and there are no other options.
