q path to f100 shows I have chpid F1 active
Q SET EDEV 5702 TYPE FBA ATTR SCSI FCP_DEV F100 WWPN number LUN number -
works great
VARY ON 5702 - fails with no paths found.
Indeed a q path to 5702 shows no chpids. Thought the assignment to F100
takes care of that.
So, what am I misunderstanding here?
I control my iocds from z/OS. This partition is set as mvs, as to why I
disremember. Too many years. Could that be an issue? I don't think so since
I see the devices but...
