If you have remote access to their desktop (via VNC or something like it), then you can get right to their system and reconnect it for them.

At our shop we run with VSE dialed consoles on PCOMM emulated 3270 sessions.
VSEs run as guests under z/VM 3.1.

We have the capability of doing work from home via VPN.

The question is: if we need to remotely do VSE maintenance (e.g..: #CP RESET 01F and

#CP DIAL 01F (from home) then doing an AR REIPL NOPROMPT at the VSE console, is there anyway to reattach the

VSE console to the Operator’s PCOMM session (i.e.: without having to send them an emoil/msg that they have to do a redial after we remotely do a

%RETURN (or is it %RESET (or *CP RESET 01F?)).

TIA
