David: The changes vary by geo, but generally are similar world-wide. Note that the IBM plan is still better than most out there in the new world of "defined contribution" (DC) plans. For those IBMers (like myself) who are "older" and still on the old "defined benefit" (DB) plan (at least here in Canada), my pension is actually going up. Jim
