I
don't use LogMsg_File, but I have been using CP SET LOGMSG for over 20
years. :)
We
warn users about planned outages, that's pretty much it. We deliberately
set the size of even small messages to 34+ lines so that when it displays on a
327x mod 2 or 3 it will result in MORE or HOLDING to give the user the
opportunity to read it (in case their PROFILE EXEC does a VMFCLEAR or otherwise
causes the message to clear before they can read it).

Subject: LogMsg_From_file
Does anyone on this list use the LogMsg_File feature in the SYSTEM CONFIG file and if so what are you doing with it?
I know what it's for. I'm just wondering what people are doing with it.
Thanks,
Steve
