Rather than restricting this to SHARE attendees and involving all the SHARE politics about availability of the information, etc, could we all collaborate on a public how-to document instead? Given SHARE's increasingly aggressive copyright assumption and the black hole of share.org that a large percentage of SHARE presentations are disappearing into, it strikes me as something better done in a open forum. Perhaps it's time to do volume II of Mother. Topics I'd like to see addressed: Getting the latest service buckets for current supported releases (4.4, 5.1, 5.2) Ordering the latest RSU on physical media Ordering the latest RSU via electronic means (IBMlink) Ordering the latest RSU via the Internet Ordering a specific fix Applying a RSU (a high-level outline) -- I think Jim has a good cookbook for this already. I'd be willing to contribute portions of our Introduction to VM Systems Programming course, and the necessary infrastructure to support and host the document. -- db
