I'm working on a consolidated patch, which I hope to have ready today or
tomorrow. My plan is to have one patch with everything except Chuck Lane's
since he's provided ready access to his patches at
<http://www.crinoid.com/perl560.htmlx> (Note: he's updated at least a couple
of them today although he hasn't told us yet :-)). Chuck has a lot of
important fixes in addition to the pipe stuff but as far as I can remember
none of it has been submitted to p5p -- Chuck, what's the plan for getting
your stuff into 5.6.1?
