Do we want to take a shot at minor version binary compatibility? I've been
fiddling a bit with perl 5.6.1 and, unfortunately, it's not compatible with
5.6.0 even with the appropriate options set in the .OPT file. (We've got
functions that have shown up, gone away, and have names changed--it's a
quick trip to ACCVIO land here...) Perl does it on other platforms, but I'm
not sure I want to wait for perl 6 for this to work on VMS.
Yeah, I'm lazy and don't want to have to rebuild the world. :)
