Hi,
I am new to perl and I am running VMS6.1 with OSI net and UCX on a VAX.
I am having a problem with using FTP. I have compiled 5.6.1. and 5.8.0
but I get the same problem.
When I issue the
my $ftp = Net::FTP->new("dbunix",Debug => 1) or die "Can't connect:
$@\n";
The script just stops - no error nothing.
I get the same problems in SMTP also. When I tried to run the script
with -D on the whole thing hung in the 'socket' call?
Has anyone had this problem before or know what could be causing it.
I have built the same versions under 6.2 on a VAX and an ALPHA running
UCX but they are both running DECNET - not sure if this has anything to
do with it.
Any clues?
