Perl 5.8.4-RC1 debug build on OpenVMS 7.3 VAX

A Debug build and test of Perl 5.8.4 RC1 on OpenVMS VAX 7.3 has produced 
the following information:

  PYTHON> dir [...]*.*;/size/grand
  Grand total of 452 directories, 5179 files, 604207 blocks.
