I'll check the version of my C Compiler when I get home tonight but I think it's older and it's the VAX version. I didn't see #pragma optimize in the help text. I'm having trouble locating a recent copy of a OpenVMS VAX consolidated distribution disk. -- tom_p http://nbpfaus.net/
