The docs state that you can change the port on your vnc server. I have changed it for added security to e.g. 7901. I made the port change in the registry and in the setup as the display session number. Vncviewer works great; however the java client doesn't seem to work
Should I get a login prompt when I try to go to http://myip:7901? I actually get the message 'rfb 003.003' which I have seen on the posts as what you should get when you telnet to the server on that port. why am I getting it in http:// I went in and opened up ports 5800 and 5900 on my router and it still doesn't work. The docs state that you CAN change the ports for both the vnc server and the java server, but I only can find 1 place to change it (in the registry).. where do you change the java client (or it is defaultly changed with the standard client?)
