If the setup has a broadband router like Linksys Befsr41, then within the
router setup you can see the "advance" section.  There at the bottom, you
will see the "mtu" with "enable/disable" buttons.  You would check the
enable radio button and type in 1492 in the box.  Other similar router from
SMC (smc7004abr) has no setting for this "mtu" so far.  These are the two
kinds of low end routers that I have worked so far.
