Not true.  It may not 'mean' quite the same thing, but for Win98SE, with
default install, go to start | programs | VNC | Administrative tools |
Install WinVNC service.  Remember to set the default password as well.  With
that, I successfully reboot a win98 computer running VNC, and connect back
to it with the logon requestor still showing, logon and continue.  Works
great.
