I can not seem to access my VNC hosts using IE v. 6. I have a handful of
hosts which I can access both on the local LAN and through firewalls at
remote sites using the VNC client (both 3.3.9 and 3.4 - hosts and remotes
running both flavors). I can reach these same hosts both locally and
remotely through the firewalls from a machine (Windows NT) using IE 5.5. I
can reach none under any circumstances using IE v. 6. I don't see the login
screen, but rather, only a large framed background which is blank except for
a placeholder icon in the upper left corner. This is true for both v. 3.3.9
and 3.4 VNC hosts. The version of VNC seems to make no difference nor does
the version of the OS of client or host (they are a mix of Windows ME, 2000
Advanced server, XP Pro, and NT Server).

I had assumed that it is most likely a function of settings in IE 6 but so
far no combination seems to work any magic. I'm sure this is most likely
something dumb and am prepared to be completely humbled in my attempts to
find an answer. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
