I just wanted to add another program to the list of VNC managers and that VNCon @ http://vncon.chronetal.co.uk/ It's not perfect, but I've been using it successfully at my work for a while and it's got some neat features, like allowing you to view up to 25 separate computers at one time and allowing you to easily select them by the click of a mouse. It's worth checking out, the only difficulty I had was in setting the list up the way I liked it, but it does have the option for an IP or domain scan for all users with the VNC client. I think it uses a version of RealVNC for it's viewer.

We have been using static IP addresses but are going to switch to DHCP in the next month. Are there any utilities that will display a workstations IP address prior to login? Or does anyone have a simple method of determining a workstations ip address for our Help Desk to assist a user having difficulty logging in? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------- John E Fleming Systems Engineer II Stanislaus County CSA Phone: (209) 558-2025 Fax: (209) 558-2535 Internet Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list << File: ENVELOPE.TXT >> _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
