If the header doesn't show that the message went to the list, then it
didn't go to the list.  You can tell.  If the list isn't in the To or Cc
fields of the header (and neither is your address because the sender used
Bcc), you will still see lines that begin like this in the header:

Received: from realvnc.com

If he sent a second copy to the list, then you'll see it later after it is
distributed by the listserve to your e-mail address (and you'll see the
things in the header I just described).  If he has Bcc'd the message to
other lists that you don't read, you won't be able to tell that..
