Ummm excuse me....
I hate to but in, but....
my 5.25 cents (inflation gets to us all)...

George:

I'm not sure we know what you want to do,
so I'll list the posibilities you left open:

1) you want to use VNC to see what is on the
PHYSICAL Screen on the linux box.

2) you want to sign-on and use the linux system
remotetly (not necesarily on the physical screen)
but with the full functionality.

What's the diference?

Well, the default unix vnc sets up additional screens
(which are viewed remotetly) and does not touch the
physical screen.

Additionally, you would like to share your desktop with
someone else so that you both take turns moving the mouse
inputting etc!

WOuld you be kind enough to tell us what you are trying
to do?

Jerry
