FAQs, RTFM, and the growing community

Given that (1) RTFM seems to be the response of the day, (2) the 
information requried for operation of VNC is complete but scattered, and 
(3) the community is growing, has anyone made an effort to collate the 
information provided into a Universal FAQ, that may be posted monthly, 
etc.?  Akin to FAQs you see in usenet?
