< I have noticed, however, that as soon as I load the
<servicehelper (eg. 'winvnc.exe -servicehelper' from a command prompt),
<the desktop wallpaper reappears.
<
<I have surmised that when started from a service, VNC will use the
<Default settings; and when started while a user is logged on, VNC will
<use the Current User's settings. I have double-checked everything -- both settings
are identical.
<
<Any ideas?

Leave the servicehelper enabled and set the AllowProperties binary value to their
registries to keep the settings from being played with.
