hehe, no but that is cool. :) I had to rewrite a few parts for use here at work, but it never occured to me to go ahead and put my ip address in the "Connect new client" box so the customer has less to type. Or hell just add a menu item to the right-click menu that says "Connect to Support."
Actually I think I'll go do that now, never occurred to me to simply change the name and look of the program to something like "Company_Inc._Support,". Disable all the menu items and options except for the Connect to Support in the right-click popup menu. I'd put something like "Powered by VNC" on all the dialogs though. Or something more honest "Quick hack presenting itself on top of VNC." :) -Jonathan Maton 420 ----- Original Message ----- From: "ViNCe" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Jonathan Maton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 12:29 PM Subject: RE: "Call-back" feature > why not put all vnc related files (duh, just 3 files) in the %systemroot% ? > start, run and there we go! > > i'm using something like that, > with my DNS already in the 'outgoing' connection window, > some parts disabled, my own icon on the tray, > and translated it on the fly to Dutch... > > want something like it? ;-) _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
