I'm trying to develop a vnc viewer. Everything seems to be going well except that when I receive my first FrameBufferUpdate message, the message I receive has the following values:
NumberOfRectangles: 1 x-position: 0 y-position: 0 width: 4 height: 4 EncodingType: 0 (raw) I sent the Update Request with the following data: Incremental: 0 x-position: 0 y-position: 0 width: 1024 height: 768 I would expect to get either 1 big rectangle from the server or several smaller rectangles from the server. Instead, all I get is this lousy 4x4 rectangle. The pixels in that rectangle appear to be correct, but I can't get any more than that.
