It seems OK for downloading the win32 vncviewer (now that I realize I
don't have to enter my name, e-mail address, etc., to do it!), but it
isn't so great for other viewers. For Linux or Solaris one must download
either a tar.gz or .rpm -- not just the executable for the viewer. There
is no viewer for MacOS.

Most of the viewers are freely available and redistributable, right? So
why don't we just put all of the free GPL'd binaries somewhere so that
people can just grab them quickly when needed? Then when I'm on a Mac,
say, I can just grab the binary and run it.

I am aware of the java viewer - it's really great, but it is slower, so I
prefer the vncviewer for speed.
