Check out the recent thread about libstc++ and Linux. I can't imagine things like Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, ad-nausium being much different in the respects of the executable being dependent on the installed libraries. As far as MacOS goes, there are other projects devoted to creating just Mac servers and viewers. It is my experience the Java viewer for VNC 4 is just as good as a native viewer, because it has been re-written with the new encodings. Take this with a grain of salt, because I have the native viewers on all machines I use VNC on regularly, so the java viewer doesn't get much use. -- William Hooper _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
