Remember, there are no stupid questions; only stupid people.

I can run VNC fine across the local network, but I can't get in from the
outside.

I'm using a MSN DSL modem and a Linksys router.

When I attempt to get in from outside, I get the information from the modem.
When I mouse over the icon in the system tray from the server computer, it
shows 10.10.10.100--the local DHCP address for this computer.

I've tried using port forwarding and DMZ on the router, but I must not be
doing it right. It never lets me in from the outside, and it often messes up
access to the local network.

Is there anybody out there who can give me a clue as to where I'm going
wrong?

Frank
