I have not seen that message myself. However, if the AOL is dialup and the
NIC is not configured you may not have an interface for VNC to bind to.

Make sure you are online when you start VNC.

This is just a guess. Again, I have never seen this, but the server is
running, so the next step is to be sure TCP/IP connectivity is set up
correctly.

I suppose you could try enabling the loopback interface in the VNC
registry settings. More info may help, please update.
