VNC Service Problems

I've been looking at the list lately and it seems as though a few people 
have been having problems with VNC running as a service, Myself included.  
Also I've seen a few people with the problem of VNC doing things with the 
wall paper even if its set not to,Myself included again.  It would seem that 
most times these problems tend to come from a version of 4.  Going back to 
3.3.6 dosen't help.

Can no one help on these problems?

I'm willing to give extensive information.
