So, I haven't mentioned it, but about 4 or 5 days ago my connection from work to home quit working. I uninstalled, reinstalled, the whole works (and what a suprise, after re-install, all of my old settings were still there -- this can't be a good thing).
What was really strange? I could connect from INSIDE the house. Duh..... I'm old and senile. I forgot that I turned the XP firewall back on. So ---- For all those who keep having problems connecting, don't forget that on XP (maybe later 2000 service packs?) you can NOT have the firewall box checked on the advanced tab for your internet connection!!!!
