Just wondering ...... does this Dreambox have a DE (development environment), 
ie a gcc compiler as well as all libraries and header files?  If yes, you could build 
your own stuff.

        If the DE isn't complete, but if you have at least a compiler, you could 
always transfer other necessary files inside it.  It might be tedious, but is still 
feasible.
