I have now even tried a special VNC Version for the dbox2. This plugin can
be activated directly - no telnet required - obviously the Dreambox lacks some
windows server capability.

I guess I will have to wait until someone ports the software.

by the way the result of these commands was ...

I tried all these - but do not remember where I got them from - always the
same Syntax error.

file vncviewer - no file command on Dreambox

If I knew more about Linux I would start adapting the SW myself - but I am a
real beginner.
