Hello,
<What have you done to have the failed connection? -
Wish I knew then this would not be a problem
<And how did it fail? -
Thats what Im still trying to find out
<Let me guess: you have typed http://xx.xx.xx.xx:5800/ and this failed,
right? That's because you forgot to open port 5800 as well in your
router?
<On the other hand, make sure your port 5900 and 5800 are pointing to
the SAME internal PC, or else don't expect it to work, logically :)
Forwarded 5800 & 5900 to the same PC yes
As I said before It will work both ways Internal - Java and VNC Viewer
If I try to access it thru the web at the VNC viewer I get the Failed to connect - I
and am using the correct IP address - as the tests have told me my IP address. So Im
lost on that one.
As for the Web Java yes I type in the IP address http://xx.xx.xx.xx:5800/ and it comes
up Can not find server
Still lost cant get it to work Externally
What to do now ??
Opie
