it's obvious that the ip-adresses, netmasks and gateways of the original post do not match... this is simple tcp/ip and has nothing to do with the owner of the networks (or their security...).

with these settings, nobody would ever be able to connect to the other host, not even the navy... :-)

says that ip range is owned by DOD.  Is this computer on a Navy computer
network.  I used to admin on Navy networks.  It will not connect to them in
