No, I had not, and yes, that does seem to have allowed it to work properly. However, it makes updating the screen very slow. This, with a T1 connection on the viewer side, and a DSL connection on the remote (host) side.
Here's a summary: ZRLE - crashes Hextile - works, but is very slow, nearly unusable. Raw - works, but is entirely unusable. Why should the viewer crash when using ZRLE? Is there something I can change in configuration that will resolve this? Perhaps it just needs a larger memory allocation (either at compile-time, or hopefully via a setting in the .vnc file)? -----Original Message----- From: B.
