I will check with Linksys on this. I have attempted the VNC with a wired connection and still yield the same results.

There is anecdotal evidence that, for whatever reason, wireless routers don't seem to pass the connection over the wireless connection, only over the wired connection. This is, of course, a generalization, and I will gladly submit to correction by anyone know knows better. Also, some wireless routers may work better than others.
