     The main VNC connection is passed to port 5900.  Port 5800 is just for
the first phase of web connection to initiate the java applet.

     If you're pretty sure of the configuration of the port forwarding in
your home router, maybe you should take a look at its UPnP support.  Because
if you haven't setup 5800 but this is forwarded, one plausible reason is
UPnP.  If it's really enabled, either you shut it down totally, or you let
it forward 5900 for you as well.
