Would you or someone else please explain to me why you need to filter out
messages that don't pertain to you? What is wrong with reading the subject
header and if it is no interest to you, delete it! I was off work from
Friday night till Tuesday morning, there were only 61 messages in the my VNC
group. I browse through the list by reading the subject, if it didn't
interest me I deleted it, if it did interest me I read it and if necessary
responded to it. Not much time involved. Why all the gripe about this?

Also why move it to a newsgroup? What would one gain from this?

Flame me if you want but I am just trying to understand all the whining
going on about these two topics!
