The log says :
The file C:\Program Files\ORL\VNC\WinVNC.exe is infected with New BackDoor
Known Virus
It doesn't say that WINVNC.EXE is actually a New BackDoor Known Virus.
You told us you tried to install TridiaVNC over the existing AT&T version.
Try to uninstall the current AT&T version on 1 pc, restart, and do a clean
install. Or even better, try to install VNC on a new pc, which is certainly
not yet infected and run the scan on that pc then.

If this is true what you say , then why does another "brand new this morning
downloaded" version of TridiaVNC get the same result ? ( after i deleted the
WinVNC.exe.vir )
For your info , i'm using WINVNC on all my workstation and Servers ( +\- 500
workstations and 35 servers ) i automaticly update my virusdefinations and
until yesterday i never had any problem. Now on each and every machine wich
get the new virus definitions Mcafee tells met that WinVNC.exe is a backdoor
virus.
