I am convinced now that Vopmail latest version has some problem with disk quotas.
I received a message today from a customer telling me they are not receiving mail because of disk quota issues. The domain disk quota for them is 40M. However the domain information and File explorer both state that the disk usage is about 15M. The domain information is as of 5:20AM today and it's about 11AM now. (I have asked a few times before on this list when does the domain information get updated with no replies).
I verified this problem because my reply to his message was bounced with "Delivery failed..
User's domain quota exceeded" message.
The I increased the quota to 60M and resent the message and it went through. I can see the .msg file with file explorer. This definitely tells me something is not right.
My guess is everytime a message is received, Vopmail checks the quota. I don't know where the quota number is coming from but perhaps it's not matching the one in domain information everytime. My guess is, at some point, the disk quota got close or went beyond 40M and Vopmail "got stuck" with this quota flag from that point and even though the disk usage decreased later, Vopmail is not aware of this fact anymore until God knows when, maybe when the domain information get updated the next time.
BTW, I restarted the two smtp services and it didn't clear this problem.
